in windshield of car, when misting is formed, normally it is removed by hot air flow, but now-a-days in new model cars this demisting process is done by cold air also, how?

The fogging is caused by water vapour (moisture) condensing on the inner surface of the windscreen glass. "The cool air from the air conditioner will dry the air, removing the moisture. This dry air will flow over the windscreen sucking further moisture off the glass," Heating the air will dry the windscreen a little through evaporation, but just puts more moisture in the air which will condense back onto the windscreen again and may even make it worse.
